Prominent Builders has completed the full gut renovation of 246 Newbury Street in Back Bay. The project began in August of 2022. The historic brownstone now features 3 high-end rental residences along with 1 commercial space. The scope of the project, designed by EMBARC, included new MEP systems and finishes throughout along with new flooring systems plus the addition of a roof deck. The Prominent team completed the project in just 13 months.
Herb Entwistle of Entwistle Real Estate Group, the project’s developer commented on the work “Taylor is a generally caring person who's very attentive to details and is very time-conscious with your project. Taylor and his team finished my Brownstone project on Newbury Street on time and within budget, on the tail end of COVID.
